The Optimist Club of Reno is proud to be the Partner in Education with Sun Valley Elementary School.
Our club supports the school by holding an shoe drive to help those students in need of and shoes. If you would like to make a donation to the drive, please contact Linda Woodland at 673-9225. We are looking for cash donations or Payless Shoesource Gift Cards to help cover the costs of purchasing shoes for the youth in need.
In addition to the coat and shoe drive, we also hold an annual Christmas Party for the Kindergarten - 3rd grade kids. Each child is given one gift to open by Santa and his elves. This years party will be held December 15th, 2006.
