RE: Annual Installation/Scholarship Dinner
To All Members and Friends:
You are invited to our Annual Installation/Scholarship Dinner on Friday, October 24, 2008. Cocktails will be at 6:30, Dinner at 7:00, Awards at 8:00. It will be held at the Gold-N-Silver Inn, 790 W. 4th Street, Reno, NV. Member’s meal will be $20.00, no charge for guests.
We have a great group of scholarship contestants this year. Very exciting and promising!
We hope to have Governor Lloyd Reber and Governor Elect Sharon Reber from Sacramento, CA to administer the Oath of Office and installation of new members!
Come and join us for an evening of old and new friends! The Optimist Club of Reno is getting bigger and better, come and be a part of it!!! If you haven’t been able to attend our lunch meetings, this is an excellent way to stay in touch!

The 3rd Annual Fun Sunday was held July 20th, 2008. It was a rousing success. Thank you to everyone that participated and attending this annual event for the schools of Sun Valley.
Optimist Club of Reno makes its debut in the 2006 Nevada Day Parade. The scouts of both Pack and Troop 585 were on hand to help out.
